This simple 3 to 4 ingredient recipe satisfies your sweet tooth AND also features one of my favorite stone fruits – DATES!

  • Dates contain about 23 calories in 1 serving (1 piece).

  • Dates are abundant in fiber. They contain a special soluble fiber called Beta-D-glucan. (Bonus fun fact: Consumption of foods containing Beta-D-glucan can improve seasonal allergies). Soluble fiber helps to regulate blood sugar, aids with bowel movements, and helps with feeling fuller longer.

  • Dates also improve the colonization of good gut bacteria which improves overall gut health.
