Dr. T's Chickpea TuNO Recipe

  • 1 15oz can of garbanzo beans (chickpeas)- Mashed with a fork or blended lightly in a food processor . Bonus if no added salt otherwise - rinse off with water and drain before use.

  • 1 tablespoons of vegan mayo (I like the Just Mayo brand)

  • 1-2 tablespoons of mustard of your choice ( I like spicy flavor profiles - so I sometimes add in Trader Joe's Jalapeno sauce or Thai Chili Sauce )

  • Diced cucumber OR celery

  • Diced tomatoes (optional)

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • Optional Add-ins: flax seeds cilantro, walnuts

Mix all ingredients and enjoy! Eat with crackers, in a wrap or as a sandwich ( my personal favorite)!
